Hope Quotes - Why You Need Them

"Hope never abandons you. You abandon it." George Weinberg

Sometimes we see our friends and loved ones in pain and don't know what to say or how to help. Sometimes we need a little help ourselves when things are tough to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Often it's the simplest things that get us through like an inspirational quote or affirmation that speaks to us on a deeper level. Allowing us to tap into the strength and fortitude needed to work through the pain or distress. Words of wisdom or optimism have the power to transform the way we view a situation or circumstance. Therefore resonating with our innate will to survive.

Hope quotes used in conjunction with affirmations can have a huge impact on the way you perceive yourself and the world around you and allow you to find clarity and purpose in the wisdom of others. Like any other goal you have to work at it. For instance, if you want to get fit, first you have to exercise. You have to put one foot in front of the other and work on it. It's the same for the human brain. We have to train our brain to see the world differently if we want to achieve a new way of thinking. Instead of training with weights we exercise the brain with positive affirmations and quotes.

Positive quotes and affirmations are especially useful to combat symptoms of depression and anxiety. Reading a quote before bed and first thing the morning is a reminder to fight the despair or worry. It's a way of training your emotional muscles to look at the positives rather than the negatives. To see the sunlight rather than just the clouds.

We all have to remember it's our choice what information is worth holding on to. So is it going to be words like give up, why bother, nothing good ever happens to me anyway. Or is it going to be hope to dream. Dream to hope. It's up to you. It's the same as computers, they don't accomplish anything without input. Your brain will accept the things you continually say to yourself. You decide if the input is positive or negative. If your natural tendency is to only input pessimistic or negative statements about yourself and your environment then use the words of others who perceive the world differently to find a new reality.

In a difficult world full of challenges and ordeals we all need take inspiration where we can find it. Quotes and affirmations are like using vitamins to help boost your resources to get through the difficult times. Most of us are used to doing a lot of things to keep our bodies healthy but we cannot forget to put the same effort into keeping our minds healthy.
