Manic Depression or Bipolar Disorder - Safe Treatment Through Dream Translation

Manic depression or bipolar disorder is a mental disorder characterized by the abrupt change of mood. On one hand, it generates exaggerated feelings and reactions (euphoria). Bipolar individuals feel so positive they believe they can do even what is beyond human capacity. On the other hand, it generates depression. Depending on the case, this disorder can have the characteristics of a psychosis.

This mysterious mental disorder could be enlightened thanks to the discoveries of the psychiatrist Carl Jung concerning the meaning of dreams, and thanks to my discoveries. I continued Jung's research, completing his arduous mission. Today we know that whenever someone suffers from manic depression or bipolar disorder, they are controlled by their anti-conscience.

The anti-conscience is the wild and primitive side of our conscience, which didn't evolve like our human side. This primitive content generates mental illnesses and mental disorders within our human conscience.

Whenever the absurd content of the anti-conscience invades the human side of our conscience, we have absurd thoughts and feelings, and we show abnormal behavior. However, this content cannot remain in our conscience if we don't follow the absurd thoughts imposed by our evil anti-conscience.

The anti-conscience is our wild personality, which refuses to be tamed by our sensibility and sensitivity. Some people are inclined to follow its absurd thoughts, and this is why they suffer from bipolar disorder, or any other mental disorder or mental illness.

Depending on the degree of domination of the anti-conscience into someone's conscious field, they will suffer from a different mental disorder or mental illness. Manic depression or bipolar disorder is only one mental disorder among an infinite list of mental disorders, which are all generated by the craziness of the anti-conscience.

Now that this mystery was solved, we can cure individuals who suffer from manic depression by eliminating their anti-conscience through consciousness. This is done through dream translation.

Carl Jung discovered the importance of the unconscious mind that produces our dreams. I discovered proof of the unconscious sanctity. My discoveries are gradually putting an end to the atheism that characterizes our civilization. The unconscious mind is a saintly mind that works like a natural doctor. It can be absolutely trusted without fear.

When we master the dream language we understand the wise unconscious guidance in our dreams. The dream images are the unconscious words. All dream images have a symbolic meaning and give us precious information.

I greatly simplified Jung's method of dream interpretation. Today everyone can easily learn how to translate dream images into words that they understand. Thus, everyone can fight against manic depression or bipolar disorder through dream therapy. The unconscious treatment is safe and effective in all cases. Numerous people were cured from all types of mental disorders and mental illnesses through dream translation.

However, individuals who suffer from manic depression need the support of someone else in order to follow dream therapy without giving up. This happens because they are controlled by their anti-conscience most of the time. Their anti-conscience doesn't let them accept passing through a process of consciousness that eliminates its influence.

In case you suffer from manic depression yourself and you don't have anyone's support, you must be insistent. Keep following the unconscious guidance in your dreams. You will surely find peace and sound mental health. The unconscious mind will help you build a uniform and self-confident personality. You'll stop suffering, and become a wise human being.

A New Definition of Happiness

THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS

Happiness. It's a word we hear about all the time. It's something that we work for, that we work to achieve. Yet day by day we seem no closer to attaining it. Happiness eludes us.

Yes, we've had moments when we felt happy. Perhaps it was a wedding. Or a birth of a child. Or it was that other night, when we were hanging out with friends, or spending time with family. In those moments, we felt happy, truly, deeply happy. Transcendent almost.

And then it fades. Darkness ensues. The happiness is gone. In its place will often be a vacuum.

We ask, "What's the point?" If we have the inalienable right to pursue happiness, then what is the point if we don't feel like we can ever reach it, or achieve it? That which we want more than anything, to be happy, seems to be something that we can't have.

Maybe if we had more money! That's really all we need! Or maybe it's that brand spankin' new 3D-LED HD TV. A new car? Yes, that's it!

No, no it's not money or things we want, but we want a relationship. A man or woman who will complete us - that will make us happy! If we're in a relationship - if only we weren't in the relationship!

But then we get those things and after a brief honeymoon we're back where we started.

Empty. Sad. So we try to think of other things. And the cycle continues.

It seems we can't be happy. So what do we do?

We employ distraction. We watch TV (obsessively) to distract ourselves from our lives so we don't have to think about how miserable we are or how miserable the world is. We drink. We smoke. We eat. We check our phones every thirty seconds.

We take subconscious shortcuts to happiness. Yet we never seem to be any happier, if anything, the shortcuts seem to be part of the problem. Then we become addicted to the distractions and we are even more unhappy. Turn on the 11:00 news - you know what I mean. The world sucks, so how can we be happy anyway?

A NEW DEFINITION OF HAPPINESS

After spending the last paragraphs utterly depressed it's time to step away from the ledge. Because we can be happy. But in order to be happy we have to unlearn everything we've ever thought about or even lived about happiness.

First - what happiness ISN'T.

Happiness is not an endpoint.

If our goal is to achieve happiness then we will never be happy.

Yes, read that again.

Happiness is not the goal. The pursuit of happiness is an illusion. If we pursue happiness we will never reach it.

Until now we've thought about happiness as the destination. It's not.

"Wait, what are you talking about?"

We have been told from everyone - parents, teachers, politicians, tv personalities, that the goal of our lives is to achieve happiness. It's in the Declaration of Independence! Can Thomas Jefferson be wrong?

Yes, it's everywhere. We are told time and time again that we must pursue happiness. We are told the goal of our lives is to be happy.

Yet how many of us are happy? Not many. Because we cannot pursue happiness. Let me rephrase, we can pursue happiness if we wish, but we'll never get there. Our efforts will be futile. We know this because we have lived this. We are living this.

It's time for us to develop a new concept of happiness. It's time for us to redefine happiness because our current definition is just not working. No - it's worse than that. Our current definition, of happiness as our goal/destination is simply wrong.

So what is happiness?

Happiness is a result.

Happiness is what results when we are on the path we instinctually know that we should be on. Happiness is what results when we are growing, when we are expanding, when we are developing.

Happiness is not something we can do, or achieve. It's a result. It's a byproduct. When we are growing, when we are expanding, the result will be happiness.

We will never achieve happiness if our goal is happiness.

Our goal must be one of expansion, growth, development. While we are working toward that goal, we will be happy.

Happiness is not about smiling. It isn't about the expression of joy on the face. We might be toiling harder than we have ever toiled before. The expressions on our faces might be one of pain, contempt. But inside we will be singing because we are working on ourselves and developing and growing. The result is happiness.

Therefore, the key, the key for you to be thinking about right now is - are you on the right path? Are you learning? Are you growing? Are you developing? Because when you can honestly answer "Yes" to those questions, then you will be on your journey, and the result will be happiness.

Potential members can talk to others about similar treatments, lift someone up who is in a bad place, read news on each community, recommendations for just about everything, and a place to put up photos and journals.

How the community helps you

The first thing a potential member will need to do is sign up for a free account and then start their own wellness journal. In here they will chronicle their bouts with anxiety, depression, and anything else they wish in an effort to share their story with others so that they can begin to heal. It is not necessary for anyone to use their real name, but they can if they so desire. The next step is to invite family, friends, and support personnel to the site for additional support and strength. New members will join a community that fits their needs and then begin to interact with other members and make new friends.

By being able to offer support to others suffering the same anxiety depression, individuals will be able to help themselves as well. This community is also open to anyone with the desire to simply come in and offer other members a helping hand. Sometimes just having a shoulder to lean on and knowing that someone out there really does care is enough to bring anyone closer to healing.

Cures For Depression - Chemical Or Natural?

As we fight to recover from a struggling world economy we face a new threat of an ongoing health crisis. Thousands upon thousands of new cases of depression are being diagnoses annually with no end in sight. As this new wave of cases begins to appear large pharmaceutical companies are waiting with their hands out to cash in screaming the praises of their latest and greatest cures for depression.

This is nothing new as pharmaceuticals are big business making billions of U.S dollars each year. Pick up any magazine or newspaper and you are likely to see some form of advertisement for prescription drugs. There is nothing wrong per say with these companies doing major advertising but I'd suggest you be skeptical of drugs promising to rid you of your depression symptoms overnight. Depression is an illness of the brain, a part of the human body we know very little about in reality.

Experts seem to agree that depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain but critics of the theory point to the fact there are no known ways to test these supposed chemical levels. Really, this is an educated guess at best. There is no way of knowing for sure if they have anything to do with depression at all. Antidepressants claim to cure depression by helping to balance these out of balance chemicals but again there is no sure fire way of testing their effectiveness. The best methods are observation to individual patient results but when it comes to mental illness how can you truly have a control group in these study groups. There is no way of knowing if there are underlying symptoms of depression in someone. Sometimes all that is lacking is the catalyst to bring them out.

Cures for depression may one day be a reality but that day is not today. Right now if you are looking to keep your depression in check I'd highly recommend alternative treatments to chemical antidepressants. Natural forms include diet, exercise, and even self help programs. Diet and exercise really go hand in hand as they are both aimed at keeping you physically healthy as well as mentally. Have you ever noticed how good you feel after a hard run or workout? Everyone has stress in their lives, some more than others. It is imperative you find a way to release this stress as bottling it up inside will only result in a meltdown know as a nervous breakdown. Just like a pressure cooker we all have our boiling points and when we are full we are full. Any type of physical activity is a great way to blow off that steam. Eating healthy can lead to a more pleasing self image thus boosting self esteem. Low self esteem can be linked to depression. Self help courses will benefit anyone even those not suffering from depression. A little positive thinking can go a long way.

4 Types Of Bipolar Disorder Explained - How They Affect Individuals

In psychiatry Bipolar Syndrome and Manic Depression falls under a group of mood disorders where a person experiences emotional states where they go from being clinically depressed to states where their moods are elevated, or the opposite cycle, and can be or include both these mood states. This can be a crippling condition if it is left untreated or ignored, and has been known to cause suicide.

During the late 1950's was when the term "manic depressive" first came about, although it is now commonly referred as Bipolar Disorder, which is the name for it now. This mood disorder will have been around long before it was discovered. Word such as 'ania' and 'manos' which come from Latin, used by the Romans. A Roman doctor by the name of Caelius Aurelianus came up with these etymologies (history of words). The meaning of 'Ania' is a creating great mental suffering, whereas 'manos' on the opposite scale can be translated as being calmer and more relaxed. Through centuries past those known to great minds have tried to work out how these strange mood swings have come about. Gao Lian, a Chinese encyclopaedist was one of the first to cite this illness in his 'Eight Treatises on Nurturing of Life'; the Frenchman Jules Baillarger found that the origin of these frequent cycles of depression and mania could be explained through two phased mental disorder.

The concept behind what we know today as Bipolar Disorder was considered to be a German psychiatrist - Emil Kraeplin. Long before mood stabilisers were created, he looked at untreated patients and studied their case files and was able to sort them into those that were afflicted with this illness. He conceived and is known as the father behind the term "Manic Depressive Psychosis". Under observations Emil's patients were found to undergo cycles where they had acute depression one moment then mania, with intermissions in between where the patient had no symptoms and were acting normally.

While Kraeplin discovered the concept behind the illness, it was Dr. John Cade who was credited with coming up with the treatment. He discovered that Lithium Carbonate was effective as a mood stabiliser, suitable to treat all kinds of mental illness. As a pioneer for this medication, it was the first of its kind to be used for treating all psychiatric conditions, which were often treated by electroconsulive therapy or lobotomy.

Bipolar syndrome can be said to be having mood swings, but on a much more frightening scale. These abnormal mood swings will make an individual's life very difficult or can enhance it depending on the severity of the disorder (on a scale from mild to severe) and which route it takes (a depressive or elevated mood). It can alter a person's active and energy levels, their cognitive behaviour, affect their social life and disturb their normal sleep cycle.

Whilst a person is in their early teens they will just start of with depression which comes and goes. As they reach their late teens, the Bipolar Disorder begins to surface. In some cases, a person has started with this illness as a young child, and others later on in their life. Bipolar can strike anyone at any age regardless of their ethnic background, their sex, their race or their social class.

Females diagnosed with the illness usually began firstly with episodes of depression, whilst male patients are more known to have started with manic episodes. The disorder is known to be genetic, so if you are blood related to someone with this illness there is a tendency for it to passed on.

These changes or episodes of mood swings can last from a few hours and even for months; everyone is affected differently and have dissimilar coping mechanisms. Where a patient has four or more depressive episodes or mood changes and a combination of mania in any single year, they are known to have Rapid Cycling Bipolar Disorder.

A patient with Rapid Cycling Bipolar Disorder can reach a full cycle within hours or days. In Bipolar Disorder the patients progressively move through the mood changes. They are extremely unstable and it is difficult to find the correct treatment for each affected individual. It is the females who are more prone to Rapid Cycling.

Bipolar Disorder is classified and split into four types depending on the intensity and the patterns:

1. Bipolar I Disorder - A patient will suffer one or more mixed cycle, with at least one or more long episode of depression. The severest of all the forms as the manic episodes are extreme.

2. Bipolar II Disorder - The presence of one or major depressive episode with at least one hypomanic episode. The depression is more intense than the mania ( which can last for at least four days). A person can become quite destructive although it may not be troublesome.

3. Cyclothymic Disorder - Milder than Bipolar II, there are varying episodes of depression and mania which are acute stages, but less severe. They do not occur as much as in Bipolar I or II, but could progress to either one of these at a later stage.

4. Unspecified Bipolar Disorder - This is where a person is experiencing depressive and episodes of mania which cannot be classified in those conditions mentioned about, so a person can recover fully from this.

People should not regard this type of disorder as if it was something awful like Leprosy, and wash their hands of sufferers. They should learn to gain a better understanding, that this illness can be treated and stabilised with the correct medication. There is also excellent choices of therapy available to make this disorder more manageable so that patients can lead a normal life. They are able to take control again and be confident.

Overcome Your Depression With Five Suggestions

The myth about depression

Whenever a person feels low, the individual will tend to say, "I am depressed". This is far from the truth. "I feel depressed" is a more accurate state.

Some of the symptoms are as follows:

  • A general sense of low or down mood that pervades in all aspects of life.

  • An inability to become interested in activities that were enjoyed previously.

  • Ruminate over thoughts and feelings of one's worthlessness and a feeling of not being good enough.

  • A sense of guilt or regret, helplessness, hopelessness, sadness, self-hatred and self-punishing thoughts.

  • Refusal to participate in social events and activities.

  • Chronic insomnia.

  • Appetite often decreases, resulting in weight loss.

  • Some may result in comfort eating and gain weight.

  • Some people report multiple physical symptoms such as fatigue, headaches or digestive problems and pains.

  • Panic attacks or anxiety can grab the person.

  • Loss of sex drive or low sex drive.

No matter what kind of symptoms you experience or what you are depressed about, the fact remains that there is a chemical imbalance in your brain.

There are two main parts of the brain: The thinking brain (sympathetic nervous system - stimulation)The emotional brain (parasympathetic nervous system - relaxation)

When you feel bad, your emotional brain is reacting to stress chemicals and hence you cannot relax and thus it causes anxiety, panic or pain.

To counter this, some kind of behavioural intervention is needed to help your brain to produce the natural "happy chemicals" for your well-being.

1. Diaphragm breathing exercise.

Expand your stomach when you breathe in and contract your stomach when you breathe out.

Imagine you are expanding with the Universe and while contracting, feel the softening of all muscles, tissues and ligaments. Keep breathing until you feel a sense of calmness or relaxation.

2. Free yourself from all negative thoughts by shifting your attention to neutral thoughts or activities.

Example: Recite a nursery rhyme many times over or use a Mantra of "Shish" or "Om". It may not carry any meaning but it kicks the negative thoughts out of its dominant position. This draws the attention away from the emotional brain to the thinking brain. Depression belongs to the emotional brain.

3. Be an Observer

When you feel depressed, mentally step back and observe the feelings of hopelessness or helplessness. Simply recognise the feelings and acknowledge that you are not the feelings. You embrace by giving thanks to yourself for feeling it.

Example: "I am grateful for allowing myself to feel this pain" or"I am thankful for acknowledging this discomfort".

This will cause your brain to neutralise those chemicals because you are no longer consuming it.

4. Physical exercise

Go for a brisk walk, jog, swim or cycle. You will get your adrenaline rush and it is best way to combat the emotional brain.

5. Pay attention to your self-talk

Self-talk is the on-going conversation that you have with yourself in your own mind like a broken record, playing over and over again. Be mindful and arrest the negative self-talk by replacing it with positive self-talk.

Example: "I am hopeless and I simply cannot do anything right".

Change to: "I may not know how to do it now however, I'll learn to do them correctly in time".

Remember this -

You are not your mind, you are not your thoughts; you create your mind, you create your thoughts. The mind that created the problem is the same mind that can undo it.

Some people may have allowed themselves to fall so deep into the hole and external help may be needed besides self-intervention.

There are many therapies in the market that one can engage. They range from psychotherapy to counselling, coaching to hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy is by far the most effective and takes the shortest time to help a person get out of feeling depressed because hypnosis works with the subconscious mind. The subconscious is the direct link to the emotional brain and thus transforming it effectively.

Hypnotherapy can also resolve inner conflicts and install positive beliefs and feelings such as:

  • Elevating self-worth and self-esteem

  • Positive energy

  • Feeling motivated

  • A new sense of excitement and hope

In addition, hypnosis can help you to tap on your unlimited potential to do great things, reactivate your passion and reclaim your life.
